Hence, registered candidates can check their admissions status online on the official website, imu.edu.in. The list is available on the website’s home page and does not require login credentials. Additionally, the university will automatically consider candidates not within the initial list for further selection phases.
Earlier, the IMU CET was to take place in an offline testing mode on 28 August 2021. However, IMU cancelled the Common Entrance Test 2021 due to COVID-19 related safety concerns. Therefore, the university plans to accept candidates based on other factors this year, including normalised class 12 marks. Qualified applicants will receive an invitation to the upcoming admissions counselling process shortly. The counselling window will occur entirely online due to the ongoing pandemic.
Steps to Check IMU CET 2021 Admissions List
The first selection list for Indian Maritime University admissions is now available online. Hence, candidates can follow the steps provided below to view their qualification status.
- Go to the official website – imu.edu.in
- Then, select the “FIRST ADMISSION LISTS – UG (EXCEPT BBA) and PG Courses” link available on the home page.
- The website will then open a new tab.
- Afterwards, click on the relevant “First Admission List” link for the candidate’s chosen stream and programme.
- A PDF containing the initial cut-off list will then appear on the screen.
- Finally, download the document for future reference.
