JEE Main 2022 Exam Mistakes You Can Avoid
Here is an overview of students’ most commonly recorded mistakes over the past years. Those appearing for the JEE Main this year must beware of them and try to avoid making these mistakes.
Go Through The Instructions Thoroughly
More often than not, students overlook the instructions during the exam. Understandably, you may be focused on the questions. However, if you go through the instructions before beginning to write answers, you have a better understanding of the exam pattern, marking scheme, and other test features. It will surely give you an edge as you can plan your exam accordingly. Additionally, those who skip reading the instructions usually make avoidable mistakes.
Analyse The Question Paper
Most participants come after solving sample papers. However, each year the authorities revise the pattern of the questions asked. Therefore, you must analyse the questions before you begin to write the answers. It will help you start the exam with more clarity. Besides, you get more confident when you approach the exam after carefully reading the questions. Be that as it may, the JEE Main 2022 section B will include negative marking. As a result, going through the questions earlier will reduce your choices of answering incorrectly.
Do Not Mull Over A Question
This computer-based admission test is 3-hour long. Participants who spend too much time on 1 question will not have sufficient time left to answer the questions left. Hence, time yourself while answering every question. If you set a stipulated time for each question, you have ample time to answer. However, if you are stuck on 1 question, you might not be able to give your best on the remaining ones.
Steer Clear From Panicking
Being nervous has never helped anyone. It is completely acceptable if you do not know the answers to certain questions. However, if you push the panic button, you lose the tenacity to do well. Instead, you must focus on your strengths and try to answer the questions you are completely aware of, and it also helps boost confidence.
