The National Testing Agency revised the exam dates for JEE Main 2022 so that students can prepare well for the examination. As per the revised exam schedule, candidates can now appear for sessions 1 and 2 of JEE Main 2022 in June and July, respectively. However, the new exam dates of JEE Main 2022 are clashing with other state-level engineering entrance exams.
JEE Main 2022 Exam Dates Clash With Which Competitive Exams?
JEE Main 2022 exam dates are clashing with competitive exams like MHT, SRMJEE, BITSAT, and CET 2022. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET 2022) will be conducted from June 11 to 23, 2022. In addition, the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT 2022) session 1 will take place from June 20 to 26, followed by session 2 from July 22 to 26.
The exam dates for the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE 2022) fall between June 25 and 26. These state-level engineering entrance exams are clashing with JEE Main sessions 1 and 2. NTA will conduct JEE Main session 1 between June 20 and 29. Whereas JEE Main session 2 will be conducted between July 21 to 30.
It will be challenging for students to appear for all these exams simultaneously. In an ideal scenario, there must be a change in the exam dates. However, no confirmation has been received so far. Candidates must keep checking the official website for further updates related to JEE Main 2022.

JEE Main 2022: Other Details
The JEE Main exam is for admission to India’s government and private engineering institutions. Top scorers in JEE Main exam are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2022. In addition, JEE Main 2022 will take place in several languages, including Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Bengali, Urdu, Assamese, Odia, and Gujarati. The National Testing Agency has also added 12 new foreign exam cities for JEE Main 2022. Therefore, the exam will now take place in 25 foreign and 501 Indian cities.
