JEE Main 2022: Student Performance Dropped in Pune This Year
The coaching institutes in Pune shared their experience on the performance of the students in JEE Main 2022, which has dropped this year.
JEE Main 2022: The results of JEE Main 2022 were declared yesterday, where 24 students were outshined from the exam with a score of 100 percentile. However, the overall performance of students from Pune appearing for JEE Main 2022 was slightly lower than previous year’s performance.
Most tutorial classes were disappointed as the results weren’t as expected. Many blamed the pandemic and online coaching for the overall drop in success rates.
Durgesh Mangeshkar, director of IIT Prakashan, stated that the reason for the drop in the performance of the students in JEE Main 2022 was due to online classes. It was noticed that students performing well during the online tests couldn’t score well after the physical classes resumed.
He also stated that it was later found that students were switching off cameras and cheating or copying since there was no control during the online teaching mode.
