Replying to a parent's plea to look into the issue of the wrong state of eligibility in her JEE Main 2023 application form, NTA decides to reopen JEE Main application correction 2023.
A JEE Main 2023 candidate's parent requested NTA on Twitter to look into the issue of the wrong eligibility state in the JEE 2023 application form of her daughter.
The parent informed that his daughter completed Class 12 from Chandigarh and her residence in Uttar Pradesh, however, her state of eligibility is being shown as UP.
The parent alleged that there was no column for filling up the state of eligibility in the application form.
NTA closed the JEE Main edit window 2023 on Jan 14. Candidates were not able to edit their mobile number, email address, permanent address, and present address in the application form.
JEE Main 2023 is being held in two sessions this year. JEE Mains 2023 session 1 is being held from Jan 24 to Feb 1.
The second session will be conducted on Apr 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12. Registration for the second session of JEE Main 2023 will begin on Feb 7.
