JEE Main 2023 Cutoff: The National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) always use the JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores, respectively, to admit students to various programs offered at the undergraduate engineering level. NITs and IITs hold different counseling processes through Joint Seat Allocation Authority.

For getting admission to NITs, 50 percent seats will be reserved for candidates from the states in which the NIT is located and the remaining 50 percent for those from other states. In case of open, unreserved quota seats, students from outside the state will have to obtain higher ranks or NTA scores.
