NTA will close the JEE Main Application 2023 for session 1 tomorrow, Jan 12. The JEE Main 2023 session 1 exams are scheduled to be conducted on Jan 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31.
JEE Main 2023 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the JEE Main Application 2023 for session 1 tomorrow, Jan 12. The JEE Main 2023 session 1 exams are scheduled to be conducted on Jan 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31. Candidates who have not yet completed the JEE Main 2023 Registration may do so by visiting the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in

JEE Main 2023 Registration: How to Complete Process?
The following are the steps to complete the JEE Main 2023 Registration process:
- Visit the official NTA website for JEE Main: jeemain.nta.nic.in
- The click on the link for the 'JEE(Main) 2023 Session 1 Application'
- On the next page, candidates must register by providing the necessary details like name, mobile number, and email address.
- Then log in using the credentials generated at the time of registration.
- Then proceed to fill out the rest of the JEE Main Application Form 2023 with the required personal and educational details.
- Upload the scanned copies of the documents required
- Make the payment of the application fee, as applicable to the candidates.
- Finally, submit the application form and take a printout of it for future use.
The JEE Main 2023 Registration fee for male candidates belonging to Unreserved/Gen-EWS/OBC categories is INR 1000. As for Female candidates in the Unreserved/Gen-EWS/OBC category, the application fee is INR 800. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category only need to pay INR 500.
JEE Main 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure they fulfill the eligibility criteria given below before proceeding to the JEE Main 2023 Application:
- Candidates must have passed class 12 from a recognised board in 2021 or 2022 or must be appearing in 2023
- Those who passed class 12 before 2021 are not eligible.
- Candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in class 12 in addition to anyone subject from Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.
- The minimum percentage of marks in class 12 criteria does not apply for appearing in JEE Mains 2023. However, candidates must have a minimum of 75% of the marks in class 12 for admission to IITs and NITs.
