Candidates who wish to wear specific attire for customary or religious reasons must report at the exam centre and undergo mandatory frisking, as per the JEE Main Dress Code 2023.
- Per the JEE Main 2023 Dress Code, try to wear slippers or high heels for footwear. Closed footwear, like shoes, is to be avoided.

- Candidates will not be allowed to carry their bags and other belongings into the exam hall. While some centres provide storage facilities for the items, it is best that the candidates make arrangements of their own.
- Candidates must take a colour printout of their admit card on A4 size paper and ensure that the signature and photo are clearly visible. Additionally, carry a valid photo Id card and passport-size photo for verification.
- Items to carry inside the exam hall are: JEE Main admit card (with self-declaration form, if available), photo ID proof, copy of the same photo used in the application form (to be pasted on attendance sheet), PwD certificate and scribe document (if applicable). Moreover, the candidates will be provided with a pen and scribble pad.
- Personal items that can be carried inside include hand sanitiser, transparent water bottles and edibles for diabetic candidates.
