JEE Main 75% Eligibility Criteria 2023 Plea to Be Heard on May 2: No JEE 3rd Attempt
The NTA officials will present a plea to the Bombay High Court on May 2, 2023. The JEE Main session 2 result is expected to be released today Apr 24, 2023.
JEE Main 75% Eligibility Criteria 2023: The National Testing Agency will present a plea to the Bombay High Court on May 2, 2023. As of now, the government has decided that it will be difficult to hold the JEE Main third attempt, therefore, no third attempt for JEE Main 2023 will be conducted. On May 2, 2023, the court will hear a plea regarding JEE main 75% eligibility criteria 2023.
NTA has conducted both rounds of JEE Main 2023. The session 1 exam was conducted on Jan 24, Jan 25, Jan 28, Jan 29, Jan 30, Jan 31, and Feb 1, 2023. Further, the session 2 exams were held on Apr 6, Apr 8, Apr 10, Apr 11, Apr 12, Apr 13, and Apr 15, 2023.

NTA has made it compulsory for the candidates to be eligible for admission through JEE main 75% eligibility criteria 2023, they must score a minimum of 75 percent in their Class 12 board examinations. Further, they could also rank in the top 20 percentile of their respective education boards to be considered eligible through the JEE main 2023 eligibility criteria.
Furthermore, the petitioner has requested NTA to remove the JEE Main 75% eligibility criteria 2023 in this mandate. After students made representations to the Union Education Ministry, the top 20th percentile criteria were added to the JEE main eligibility criteria 2023. This addition caused a lot of objections from the students as they called it "unjustified".
Note that the JEE main 2023 result session 1 was declared in February 2023. Additionally, the JEE Main session 2 result is expected to be released today Apr 24, 2023. The JEE main final answer key 2023 for session 2 was released on Apr 19, 2023.
Advocate Anubha Shrivastava Sahai took to Twitter to notify the students. His tweet about JEE Main 75% eligibility criteria 2023 read, "Update of #JEE matter at Mumbai HC Govt requested for some more time till 2nd May as they are collecting some data. Hon'ble Judge told them to come on Thursday as we can't delay further but as ASG is not available so time granted till 2nd May".
