JEE Main Eligibility 2023: NTA Relaxes 75% Criteria, Class 12 Top 20 Percentile Can Apply Now
The NTA has relaxed the JEE Main Eligibility 2023, 75% marks criteria that were announced earlier for admission to IIITs, NITs and CFTIs and to appear for the JEE Advanced 2023.
JEE Main Eligibility 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a new notification regarding the JEE Main 2023 Eligibility Criteria. The NTA has relaxed the 75% marks JEE Main Eligibility 2023 criteria that were announced earlier for admission to IIITs, NITs and CFTIs and to appear for the JEE Advanced 2023.
As per the notification, the students who have scored 75% marks or are in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 of any education board will be eligible to seek admission to the IIITs, NITs and CFTIs participating in the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). In addition, such candidates will also be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2023.
The notification said that the agency had changed the eligibility criteria after receiving numerous requests from the stakeholders. Earlier, as per the JEE Main 2023 Information Bulletin, the candidates who are seeking admission to the NITs, CFTIs and IIITs, must have scored a minimum of 75% marks in their class 12 examination conducted by the respective boards.

The registration window for JEE Main 2023 session 1 will be closed tomorrow, Jan 12. The JEE Main 2023 session 1 will be conducted on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31, and JEE Main session 2 exams will be conducted on April 06, 08, 10, 11, and 12. The JEE 2023 (Main) application window for session 2 will be opened on Feb 7.
