JEECUP 2022: Exam Postponed, Admit Cards Expected Today
Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh, has postponed the upcoming UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2022 until further notice.
Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) is expected to release the admit cards for the upcoming UP Polytechnic entrance exam today, 30 May 2022. The release of the admit cards was scheduled for yesterday, 29 May 2022. In a surprising turn of events, the exam has been postponed due to an issue with the conducting agency. A new agency has been shortlisted and assigned the responsibility of conducting the exam. Based on deliberations with the new body, they are going to announce the revised exam schedule today, 30 May 2022.
Previously, the UP Polytechnic Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) was set to be conducted from 06 June to 12 June. However, due to the change in exam date, there seemed to be no point in issuing admit cards yesterday, displaying the wrong exam date. The state council has yet to issue an official notice announcing the postponement of the UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2022. However, a news report published today informed candidates about the supposed postponement. It further explained the reason for rescheduling and the date for announcing the new schedule.
As per the news report, the UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam was set to be conducted in the first and second week of June 2022. However, the entrance exam and counselling schedule have been changed owing to a conflict with the chosen agency. Previously, the UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam registration began on 15 February on the official website. Initially, it was scheduled to end on 17 April. However, due to an increase in applicants, the deadline was extended to 30 April, followed by 05 May.
