JMI Admissions 2022 to Commence Tomorrow; Check Details
JMI Admissions 2022 commences tomorrow, April 14 for both CUET & Non CUET courses. Applicants can find all relevant details.
Jamia Millia Islamia will begin admission into various courses starting tomorrow, April 14, 2022. The announcement made by the authorities states that JMI Admissions 2022 for Non-CUET programmes will begin tomorrow. However, applications for 10 courses will be based on CUET results.
JMI Admissions 2022 Via CUET
The university had earlier announced that admission for 8 courses will be based on CUET scores. Nonetheless, the authorities later released a brochure on their official website stating that admissions for 10 courses will be based on CUET. These courses include:

Applicants should remember that they are first required to register for CUET. Once they have done that, they will receive a CUET 2022 application number, which is required to fill out the JMI Admissions 2022 form. The NTA will conduct CUET 2022 in the first and second weeks of July. The outcome will be based on the rank obtained by the student in CUET 2022.

JMI Admissions 2022 Via JMI Entrance Exam
Jamia Millia University conducts its entrance exam annually for admissions to several undergraduate courses. Albeit this year, following the central government’s guidelines, they decided to allow CUET results to determine admissions to 10 courses. Subsequently, admissions to other programmes will be based on the results obtained in JMI Entrance Exam. Students who qualify for the JMI Entrance will have to appear for Counselling once the results are declared.
Some key points to note:
- Admission to JMI B.Tech will be based on the JEE Main 2022 results.
- For admission to B.Arch at JMI, students will have to qualify for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
- Lastly, for admission to the BDS course, students are required to qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
