JoSAA 2021 Seat Allotment Round 1 Results Released 

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) officials have released the round 1 seat allotment results online today, 27 October 2021. Therefore, candidates can now check their seat allocation status on the official website, josaa.nic.in. To access the admissions counselling facility, students must first enter the website’s results portal by providing valid login details such as JEE Main application number and password.

Participants with allotted seats must submit the required admissions fees and upload documents online from 27 to 30 October to lock in their provisional admissions. Counselling authorities are shortlisting students based on factors such as merit, preferences and availability of seats. Qualified participants can obtain admissions to participating IITs depending on their JEE Advanced ranking status. Meanwhile, other JoSAA-affiliated institutes will select candidates based on this year’s JEE Main ranking details. Round two of the seat allotment process will begin online on 1 November 2021.

1. Visit the official website – josaa.nic.in.
2. Then, click on the “seat allotment result (round 1)” link.
3. The website will then display a login portal.
4. Afterwards, enter the application number and password in the given fields.
5. Complete the security pin verification process and click on the “Login” button to proceed.
6. The candidate’s phase one seat allotment status will then appear on the screen.
7. Finally, download and take a printout of the allotment letter for further reference.
