Once the seat allotment result is out, candidates who have been allotted a seat must move on to the online reporting, document verification and admission stages as per the dates. During the online reporting, candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee (via e-challan or SBI Net Banking), which will later be deducted from their institute admission fee. Following this, candidates must report to the institute with their original documents for document verification within the stipulated period. If the candidates fail to complete these two steps within the deadlines, their seat allotment and admission will be cancelled.

How to Check JoSAA Counselling 2022 Round 3 Seat Allotment Result?
The following steps will help candidates check their JoSAA Counselling 2022 Round 3 Seat Allotment Result(once released):
- First of all, go to the JoSAA official website: josaa.nic.in
- The "View Seat Allotment Result Round 3" link will be available on the homepage; click on it.
- On the redirected page, submit the candidates' JEE (Main) Application Number, password, and security pin to log in.
- The screen will display results of the seat allocation for the JoSAA 2022 counselling round 3 will be displayed on the screen.
Candidates will have the option to perform one of the following actions on the seat allotted to them:
- Freeze: Those candidates who are satisfied with the seat allotted to them should "freeze" the seat allotted to them. However, candidates who "freeze" the seat will not be considered for the succeeding rounds of counselling.
- Float - If the candidate is content with the seat allotted but still wants to try for allotment at a more preferred institute in th following rounds of counselling, they may choose to "float" their seat.
- Slide - By selecting this option, candidates accept the given seat but will still try for a better-preferred course at the same institute in the next round.
