JoSAA Counselling 2023: Last Date to Respond to Query for Round 1 Today By 5 PM

JoSAA Counselling 2023: The deadline to respond to the queries raised by the document verification officers in the JoSAA Counselling 2023 round 1 is 5 PM today, Jul 5. Candidates must check for queries posted at the JoSAA Counselling 2023 candidate portal at the official website and reply as soon as possible.
In case of any discrepancies in the candidates uploaded by the candidates, queries may be raised, and they will be notified to the candidate on the online portal. Candidate must respond to the query(ies) (by uploading new/modified document(s), if required) before the deadline. Additional queries may be raised in case discrepancies still persists. The allocated seat will be confirmed or cancelled based on the validity of the documents uploaded.
It is the candidate's responsibility to check the online portal regularly and respond to any queries without fail within the stipulated time. Candidates must know that if they fail to respond to the query(ies) on time, the allotted seat will be cancelled. Such a candidate will no longer be able to participate in the JoSAA 2023 process.

The deadline to upload the documents and pay the seat acceptance fee for the seat allotted in the JoSAA Counselling 2023 Round 1 was yesterday, Jul 5. Document verification is done only for those candidates who have successfully paid the seat acceptance fee.
Further, the seat allotted to the candidate will be confirmed by IITs / NIT+ System Institutes only after successfully verifying the uploaded documents. It will also ensure that the candidate meets all the eligibility criteria. Once the document verification process is complete, the "Provisional Seat Allotment letter" will be available for download on the online portal. The seat allotment will be finalised after the successful verification of certificates by, and on joining, the provisionally allotted institute and payment of the balance institute fee.
