JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment 2 Date: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will release the mock seat allocation 2 for counselling today, Jun 27, 2023 (10 AM) at josaa.nic.in. Candidates appearing for the counselling can refer to the procedure to download the JoSAA mock seat allotment 2 date and schedule from the official portal. 

 The Ministry of Education has set up the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) to oversee and manage the joint seat allocation process for admissions to 118 institutes in the academic year 2023-24. These institutes include 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 38 Other Technical Institutes funded fully or partially by the central or state government (Other-GFTIs).

Steps to Download JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment 2

JoSAA mock seat allotment 2 date is today. Candidates can refer to the steps mentioned below download the seat allotment once it is out on the portal. 

1. Visit the official website josaa.nic.in
   
2. Locate and click on the "View Seat Allotment Result" link.
   
3. Enter your JEE Main 2023 application number, password, and security pin.
   
4. Click the "Login" button.
   
5. The screen will display the seat allocation results for JoSAA 2023.
   
6. Download and print the JoSAA mock seat allotment 2 letters for your reference.

Candidates will be allocated seats based on their JEE Main/JEE Advanced merit, preferences, category, and seat availability. The candidates who are selected must download their provisional allocation letter and submit the seat acceptance fee of INR 35,000. Once the fee is paid, the candidates need to verify their documents at the Reporting Centre (RC).
