Karnataka High Court Orders KCET 2022 Ranking Process to Be Redone for Repeaters
KCET 2022 ranking process is finally released and the court has ordered the KEA to redo the KCET 2022 Ranking process and consider 50% PUC marks for the KCET repeaters.
KCET 2022 Ranking: Repeaters ranking process is finally released, and the court has ordered the KEA to redo the KCET 2022 Ranking process for the repeaters. KCET Repeater candidates challenged the KEA’s decision of not considering PUC marks while preparing their KCET 2022 ranking. Reportedly, Karnataka HC has directed KEA to consider 50% PUC marks for the KCET repeaters and redo the KCET ranking process for the students. The High Court has further directed KEA to conduct the entire ranking process again and release the KCET merit list for all students with 50% weightage to the KCET score and 50% weightage to the PUC score. The judgment was announced yesterday, September 3, 2022.

Ranking Process to Be Redone for Repeaters of KCET 2022 Ranking
KEA announced that the PUC marks of the candidates repeating the KCET would not be considered. In 2021, CET rankings were based entirely on the CET scores because the Class 12th exams were cancelled, and students were assessed through alternative criteria. KEA decided to keep the ranking process fair.
KCET 2022 Document verification round is ongoing and will be concluded on September 7, 2022.
