The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) published the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) results today, May 19, 2022, at 1:00 PM. The SSLC exams were held between March 28 and April 11, 2022. Meanwhile, the answer key was published on April 12.

Karnataka SSLC 2022: Toppers
Reportedly 145 students achieved 100% marks, i.e., 625/625, in their SSLC exams. Out of the 145, 116 were from unaided schools and 21 from the government schools. Ergo, only 8 participants from aided schools managed the feat. These students hold rank 1. However, 309 students achieved rank 2 by securing 624/625 marks. Meanwhile, 472 students stood at rank 3 with 623/625 marks, and 615 students were ranked 4 with 622/625 marks. Lastly, 706 students were ranked 5 with 621/625 marks.

Karnataka SSLC 2022 Supplementary Papers
KSEEB has announced June 27 as the commencement date for the Karnataka SSLC supplementary exams. The exam schedule, however, has not been disclosed yet. Be that as it may, 8,53,436 students appeared for the board exams, and 7,30,881 managed to pass. Therefore, the remaining 1,22,555 students can register for the supplementary exams and get another shot at achieving the school leaving certificate.

KSEEB delegated the answer scripts evaluation to 60,296 evaluators. The evaluation process commenced on March 23 and ended on May 5. It took place at 234 centers across 34 districts within Karnataka.
While comparing schools, we observe that the students from unaided schools performed the best. With over 92% of the students have passed the exams, unaided schools top the list of schools performing exemplarily. On the other hand, government schools rank second on the list, with 88% of students passing marks. As it may, aided schools rank a close third on the list, with over 87% of students passing the exams.
80.6% of students who appeared for the exams under the disability category also managed to pass. Reports claim that 3762 out of the 4667 participants passed. Moreover, 731 participants registered under the mentally unstable category, and 486 out of these secured passing marks. Under the hearing impairment category, 950 students were registered, and 799 managed to pass.

Karnataka SSLC 2022 Results: Initial Stats & Analysis
The girls outperformed the boys this year. Initial records suggest that 90.2% of the girls passed, whereas 81.3% boys managed to pass. Consequently, the average pass percentage of students this year stands at 85.63%.
Further, the honourable minister stated that 22 districts within the state managed to secure an A grade. However, 2 districts managed B. He also announced that 145 students achieved full marks, i.e., 625/625.
Social Sciences and Third Language, were subjects that students outshined in. Over 50,000 students achieved full marks in social sciences, while over 43,000 students got full marks in their third language exam.
Comparing the rural areas to the urban, once again, the rural area students performed better than the urban areas. Urban students recorded a pass percentage of 86.64%, with 2,92,946 students having passed the exams. However, rural students recorded a pass percentage of 91.32% with 4,28,385 students passing their exams.

Website Crashed But Press Conference Announcement Made
Along with the Class 10 results, KSEEB have also released the toppers list. However, it’s the first time the Government has taken the initiative to assist students with the stress of results. As a result, mental health helpline numbers have been provided to help students overcome the stress, pressure, and anxiety related to the exam results. Karnataka SSLC 2022 Results: Minister Tweets Time of Announcement

Know Your Passing Marks
A candidate must secure a minimum of 35% on average to pass the Karnataka SSLC 2022. Moreover, each student must secure an aggregate minimum of 40 out of 150 in their theory papers, whereas an aggregate minimum of 30 out of 50 is required to pass the practical tests.
Last year, the students performed exceptionally, as only 1 student could not pass. Except for that one candidate, all other students were promoted. This year, it is expected that the percentage of students to pass the exam shall fall. However, it is expected to be around 70%. Furthermore, in 2020 it was 71.8%, while in 2019, it was 72.8%.

Karnataka SSLC 2022 Results Release: Official Declaration
The Karnataka State Education Minister, B.C. Nagesh stated that the SSLC Results would be published on May 19. However, his office mentioned no specific time. Over the past few years, the board has always published the results by 10 AM. Be that as it may, they will notify the students about the timings on May 18 through the KSEEB website.
