The KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) published the provisional answer key for the KCET 2021 online today, 2 September 2021. Thus, candidates can now estimate their scores by accessing the answer key available on the official website, kea.kar.nic.in. Qualified candidates will be able to obtain admissions to affiliated universities across Karnataka from the first week of October 2021.
In addition, the answer key objection window is now available online from 2 to 4 September 2021. Hence, applicants can raise objections to errors within the provisional answer key by accessing the facility available on the official website. Afterwards, the examination board will release the finalised answer key and candidate results with consideration towards challenges raised by candidates.
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2021 took place in an offline, pen and paper-based testing mode on 28 and 29 August 2021. Officials will publish individual scorecards for the exam online on 20 September 2021. The KCET exam paper assessed candidates on three subjects, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. The test contained 180 questions in total, worth 1 mark each, with 60 questions per subject. Moreover, the exam featured no negative marking.
