According to the official update, the KVPY exam has been deferred until further notice due to a rapid rise in Omicron cases and several COVID-19 hotspots throughout the country. However, the exam authority had not made any decision until yesterday with regards to the postponement of the KVPY exam.
The authority had scheduled to conduct the exam on 9 January 2022. However, following concerns shared by candidates and the COVID-19 restrictions and weekend curfew announcement in many states, the exam authority has decided to postpone the exam for now.
