The Supreme Court dismissed the plea to conduct online exams for CBSE classes 10 and 12. “There are rules regulations in place and authorities are working. This plea is ill-advised and premature. Authorities are yet to decide on the rules and dates. If the decision is not in consonance with the rules, then it is open to challenge,” said the Court.

A section of students requested to cancel physical exams and offer an alternative mode of assessment. CBSE and CISCE had decided to hold board exams twice this year. While the term 1 exams have been held, the term 2 exams are scheduled to be held in April. Furthermore, students claim that having 2 term exams that too in different paper patterns is unfair. Also, the court took up the case for hearing at 2 PM. SC will consider only the CBSE exams today.
21 February 2022: SC To Hear Plea Against Offline Exams Today
The Supreme Court will hear the petition filed by students of 15 states seeking direction to state boards, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) to adopt an alternate mode of assessment for class 10, 12 board exams instead of conducting offline exams.
Also, authorities have released the CBSE exam date for term 2 exams. The board will conduct the CBSE term 2 exams from 26 April 2022. Previously, officials conducted the CBSE term 1 exam for both classes 10 & 12 from November to December 2021. Additionally, the board followed the multiple-choice questions (MCQ) format.

- Visit the official website – cbseresults.nic.in.
- Then, click on the class X or class XII result link for term-1 according to your preference.
- A new web page will appear on the screen.
- Afterwards, enter your roll number and school name in the space provided.
- Click on the submit button.
- The CBSE board results will appear on the screen.
- Finally, download the results for further usage.
3 February 2022: Marking Scheme for Class 10 and 12 Exams
The board has released CBSE term-1 and term-2 marking schemes along with sample papers of all subjects. Students can download all subject sample papers and marking schemes from CBSE’s official website. Also, CBSE headquarters took to Twitter to make the students aware of the fake timetable.
2 February 2022: Results to Be Released on Digilocker
Students can check term-1 results from CBSE’s official website, download the DigiLocker app on their smartphones, or visit the DigiLocker website. After announcing class 12 results, students who think they have been given unfair marks as per their performance in the exam can apply for verification and re-evaluation of the CBSE 12 results.

CBSE board official has said that the CBSE class 10 result for term 1 will be announced soon on the official website. Students will need credentials such as roll number, date of birth, and school number to check the CBSE 10 and 12 board exam results.
