Lovely Professional University will conclude the LPUNEST admission registrations for Ph.D. courses today, 6 July, at nest.lpu.in. Admission into the LPU Ph.D. course is based on LPUNEST 2022 examination, followed by an interview process. LPUNEST 2022 for Ph.D. will be held on 8 and 10 July. Officials will call the shortlisted candidates for a Personal Interview round from 20 to 24 July.
Later, the interview results will be announced on 28 July 2022. Candidates who have qualified in NET/JRF/CSIR/ICAR/SLET/GATE/GPAT/SPM or fellowship holders are exempted from attending the written test. Admission to the Ph.D. program is made on the basis of the candidate’s performance in LPUNEST, followed by an interview. The candidates are selected based on their performance in the written test (70% weightage) and interview (30% weightage).
Steps to Apply for LPUNEST 2022
Officials will end the LPUNEST 2022 applications on the official website today. Thus, applicants can follow the steps given below to complete the registrations.
- Visit the official site of LPU – nest.lpu.in
- Then, fill up the admission form with details as asked.
- Afterward, deposit the initial fee.
- Upload the required documents.
- Then, apply for LPUNEST for a scholarship.
- Apply for availing of a residential or food, or laundry facility.
- Deposit the remaining fees.
- Afterward, apply for program transfer.
- Finally, submit the application form.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates seeking admission must qualify in the following.
- Candidates must have a Master’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks with a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST students.
- For getting a Ph.D. in engineering disciplines, applicants must have a relevant Post Graduation degree in Engineering.
- However, officials will select the students based on their performance in the entrance test LPUNEST. The entrance exam can be considered for both admission and scholarship.
