MAH BEd CET 2022: Maharashtra B.Ed Common Entrance Test (MAH BEd CET) 2022 is scheduled to be held on August 21 & 22, 2022.
Candidates who clear the CET exam will be provided admission to 2 years BEd program at MAH BEd CET participating colleges. The exam will be conducted online mode.
The exam authority has released exam guidelines and Covid-19 rules that the candidates must follow during the exam.
MAH BEd CET 2022: Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates appearing for the MAH BEd CET 2022 exam must follow specific rules and regulations. Below mentioned are the exam day guidelines:
- Admit Card: Candidates must carry the admit card for the exam without fail. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre without a hard copy of the admit card.
- Reporting Time: The reporting time will be mentioned on the admit card of the candidates. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall after exceeding the given time.
- Valid ID Proof: Candidates must carry a valid ID proof along with the admit card.
- Malpractice: Cheating & Malpractice is strictly not allowed. The exam hall will be under CCTV supervision. Candidates who are caught cheating will be barred from taking the exam.
- Follow the Instructions: Candidates are requested to follow the instructions given by the exam invigilators before the exam begins. Further, read the instructions on your computer screen before starting the exam.
- Do Not Carry Prohibited Items: Calculators, Smart Watches, Mobile Phones, Bluetooth Devices, Paper Chits, Cameras, etc., are not allowed in the exam hall.
- Do Not Press Any Key: Candidates cannot press any key on the keyboard as the system will get locked, and candidates will lose their allotted 1.5 hours of exam time.
- Use Rough Sheets: Exam invigilators will provide an A4 sheet for candidates for rough work purposes. The rough work must be done only on the sheet provided and should be returned to the invigilator after the exam.
MAH BEd CET 2022 Exam Day Guidelines for PwD Candidates
Candidates under the PwD category must bring their self-paid scribes as the exam authority will not provide them. Rules & Guidelines for visually impaired and Cerebral Palsy candidates are given below.
Rules for PwD Candidates
- Candidates who will appear for the MAH BEd CET exam cannot become a scribe of a PwD candidate. A particular scribe can only help one candidate in the exam.
- Extra 20 minutes will be given to the candidates who use a scribe.
- Candidates using scribe must inform the invigilator in advance as the system’s time will be set accordingly for such candidates.
Rules for Cerebral Palsy and Locomotors Disability Candidates
Candidates whose writing hand is permanently disabled (minimum 40%) can get extra 20 minutes in the exam.
Candidates who suffer from 40% visual disability will also get extra 20 minutes in the exam.
MAH BEd CET 2022: Covid-19 Rules
Candidates must follow Covid-19 rules along with the exam guidelines. Important Covid-19 rules are given below:
- Wear a Mask: Wearing a face mask in the exam hall is mandatory. Candidates must wear a mask throughout the exam except during the identity verification.
- Carry Water Bottle: Candidates must carry their water bottles to the exam hall.
- Follow Social Distancing: Candidates must follow social distancing in the exam centre.
- Carry Sanitizer: Candidates must ensure to carry a 50ml sanitizer to the exam centre and use it frequently to sanitize their hands.
