Maharashtra Class 11 Admission CET Likely to Be held by August
The Maharashtra Class 11 Admission 2021 CET exam is likely to commence in the last week of July or the first week of August 2021.
The Maharashtra class 11 Admission 2021 CET (Common Entrance Test) is estimated to begin in the last week of July or the first week of August 2021, as per the latest news. The state decided to conduct the Maharashtra class 11 admissions process shortly after the board cancelled the class 10 exams. The state was looking for an alternative to admit junior college first-year students. Henceforth, the state will conduct the admission test for the students from all boards such as CBSE and CISCE.
The paper will consist of objective type questions based on the class 10 syllabus. Each section – English, Science, Math, and Social Sciences will carry 25 marks. Additionally, the exam duration is 2 hours. Students of First Year Junior College can obtain admissions based on the merit scores secured in the CET exam. However, students who will not appear for the CET exam cannot obtain class 11 admissions based only on class 10 results declared by the board.
Therefore, the state will conduct the CET exam for class 11 once the class 10 results are announced. Class 11 Admission CET will be conducted by the last week of July or the first week of August 2021. Additionally, students who have paid for the Maharashtra class 10 board exam will not be required to pay the fee for the CET Exams.
