Manipur NEET Candidates: Manipur University students, consisting of 99 students from Delhi and other parts of the country, have approached the authorities with a request to be transferred to other central universities. Manipur NEET candidates are also not allowed to opt for online classes due to the unavailability of the Internet.

This decision comes in light of the ongoing and concerning situation in Manipur, where ethnic clashes between the Meitei community and the tribal Kukis have occurred since May 3. The violent incidents have resulted in more than 160 fatalities and numerous injuries.
Manipur NEET Candidates' parents are apprehensive about their safety in Manipur, and the lack of internet availability makes online learning an impractical option for them. As a result, they are seeking a transfer to alternative universities to continue their education.
Since May 3, Manipur has been experiencing ethnic clashes between the dominant Meitei community in the Imphal valley and the tribal Kukis residing in the hills. The violence has resulted in the loss of over 160 lives and numerous injuries. The unrest began when a 'Tribal Solidarity March' was held in the hill districts to oppose the Meitei community's plea for Scheduled Tribe (ST) status.
