MNLU Nagpur PhD Program Applications Begin: Check Eligibility Criteria Here

The Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Nagpur, has commenced the application procedure for its PhD program. MNLU Nagpur PhD Program: Eligibility Criteria

Before proceeding to apply, candidates must ensure that they have checked the eligibility criteria listed by the authorities. Here is an overview of the prescribed criteria.

• Applicants must have a Master’s Degree in Law. In addition, the degree must be from a recognized foreign or Indian university.
• They must secure a minimum of 55% in their postgraduate final exams. However, the minimum requirement for SC, ST, OBC, & SAP applicants is 50%.
• Candidates awaiting their final term results may apply. However, their application is conditional, subject to clearing upon submission of relevant documents.
• Judges who have served for at least 3 years in the Indian High Court or Supreme are also eligible to apply.
• Applicants who only have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law but have passed the ICSI (Institute of Company Secretaries of India) Company Secretary Examination are also eligible. However, they must have been awarded the associate membership of the Institute to be eligible. Additionally, through their research, they must seek to pursue interfaces, focusing on Public Policy or Law.
• Similarly, applicants with a Bachelor’s Law Degree who have passed the Institute of Chartered Accountants, India’s, exam and are associate members of the Institute are eligible. Be that as it may, their research should focus on interfaces relevant to Law or Public Policy.
