"Mockery of Medical Education": Doctors Outraged at NMC NExT Mock Test Fees
The National Medical Commission (NMC) is being mocked by the NExT 2023 candidates for keeping INR 2,000 as the mock test registration fee.
NMC NExT Mock Test Fees: The National Exit Test (NExT) 2023 aspirants are showing their disagreement against the National Medical Commission (NMC) for keeping the NMC NExT Mock Test registration 2023 as INR 2,000.
The National Medical Commission (NMC) released the official notification on Jun 28 regarding the NMC NExT mock test fees. Various students and Doctors across the country are mocking NMC by calling it the “mockery of medical education” and NMC’s way of “making money”.

As per the official NMC motification, General and OBC candidates must pay INR 2,000 as the NMC NExT mock test fees while Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories must pay INR 1,000.
Meanwhile, the NExT exam mock test registration is ongoing and candidates must register before Jul 10. The NExT practice test to participate in the new PG entrance exam will be conducted on Jul 28 in two shifts.
As the NMC is planning to replace the NEET PG entrance exam with NExT, candidates feel that the NMC is making easy money by keeping INR 2,000 as the registration fee for the mock test. NExT 2023 aspirants took a dig at the NMC on Twitter by showing their frustrations. Candidates feel that NExt exam is a waste of money and time.
