NCF 2022: The Union Education Minister, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan will launch the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for foundational stage 2022 and Balvatika today, Oct 20. The education minister will release the NCF 2022 in the presence of other union ministers such as Annpurna Devi, Subhas Sarkar, and Rajkumar Singh. Earlier, the government announced the National Education Policy (NEP), 2022 which mainly focused on the interdisciplinary aspect of education.

The National Curriculum Framework, NCF 2022 for foundational and Balvatika will primarily focus on the areas of school education, early childhood care and education (ECCE), teacher education and adult education. The NCF 2022 consists of four different frameworks: the National Curriculum Framework for Teacher Education (NCFTE), the National Curriculum Framework for Adult Education, and the National Curriculum Framework for Early Childhood Care and Education (NCFAE).
Furthermore, the officially released statement stated that making academic, technical, and vocational education available in all Indian languages for easy access by 90% of students who do not attend English-medium schools promotes multilingualism and the power of language in teaching and learning. The extension of Academic Bank Credits (ABC) for credits acquired through schooling, higher/technical education, vocational education and training, apprenticeships, internships, etc., linked to Digi Vault for simple verification and potential, validity, and credit expiration standards.
