NCERT Issues Notice to Put NTSE 2022 Exam On Hold Until Further Notice

NTSE 2022 Exam: National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) announced the National Talent Search Exam - NTSE 2022 exam until further notice. Furthermore, per the latest notice, NCERT ruled that the National Talent Search Scheme was approved till Mar 31, 2021. However, the present scheme of the NTSE exam 2022 has not been approved and, therefore, has been stalled until further notice.
Ministry of Education, Government of India, funds the National Talent Search Scheme examination. The NTSE 2022 exam is conducted for class 10 students in two stages offline to promote higher studies in science and social science.
Last year, NCERT conducted NTSE stage 2 exams on Oct 24 in 68 centers across the country. Furthermore, the final result of NTSE was declared on Feb 22 on the official website. Meanwhile, authorities declared an e-Award letter on Apr 28 for those who had qualified for the NTSE 2022 exam.
Class 10 students living in India or abroad are eligible to apply for the NTSE scholarship. The state-level exam comprises Part-I(Mental Ability Test) and Part II (Scholastic Aptitude Test). All candidates who qualify for the exam shall be deemed eligible for merit. Awardees are eligible to receive a scholarship up to the Ph.D. level. On the other hand, those studying professional courses such as medicine, law, management, and technology can receive scholarships upto the second-degree level.
