NEET 2022 Application (UG) Due Date Extended to May 15: Apply Now

Aspirants probing to apply for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) have been granted an extension. The authorities have announced an extension to the NEET 2022 Application deadline. The initial due date to apply was May 6. However, the window is now open till 9:00 PM, May 15. Albeit, applicants can pay the application fee by 11:50 PM on the same date.
NEET 2022 Application Process
The application process is ongoing. Whether registered or not, students can visit the direct link to apply for NEET 2022. The procedure is simple. Follow the steps mentioned:
- Firstly, register yourself on the link mentioned above.
- Then log in using your application number, password, and security pin.
- Fill out the application form.
- Upload the documents and make the payment.
- Finally, review and submit your application.
Note: Registered applicants who have not completed the application procedure – ensure that you complete and submit your application by 9:00 PM on May 15, 2022.
Students’ Appeal
Amidst magnanimous protests by students to postpone the entrance exam, the authorities have only extended the NEET 2022 Application window. Moreover, no circular or statement has been released to postpone the exam. NEET 2022 is scheduled to take place on July 17. Candidates have been requesting the authorities to reconsider the date. This is because it clashes with several other entrance exams.
Additionally, NEET 2021 counseling is still proceeding. Candidates state that preparation time between various entrance examinations is too less. The competition level is outrageous. Therefore, students are not wrong in asking for an extended preparation time.
AFMS Accepting NEET 2022 Applications
Essentially, the application window is extended for B.Sc. Nursing applicants to the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). The NTA and the Director General of Armed Forces have stated that numerous Nursing colleges of the AFMS will accept NEET (UG) scores. As a result, aspirants seeking admission to these colleges will have to register and complete their applications by the new due date.
