The national testing agency conducted NEET 2022 on 17th July. After the exam, various coaching institutes released their analysis on the paper. According to one such institute, the overall paper was easy to moderate. As per the experts, the physics and chemistry papers were easy to moderate, whereas the zoology paper can be considered more moderate than the last year. Source I
Initial expert analysis suggests that physics had more numerical and fewer theory-based questions. However, all the questions were from the NCERT syllabus. Upon the section-wise division, experts said the section B and oscillation questions were rather tricky. The section on physics was lengthy last year, and students regarded it as time-consuming; however, the physics section this year was smaller and could efficiently be completed within the time limit.
Most of the questions for the chemistry section in NEET 2022 were from the NCERT syllabus. The questions consisted of statements, graphs, lists, and theory-based questions and had fewer numerical. Some of the statements were directly from the NCERT books. The analysis further stated assertion-reason questions; however, it required a greater understanding of the concepts and clarity of the theories.
Botany Section for NEET 2022 consists of the NCERT syllabus too. Some of the questions are direct statements of facts. According to Aakash Byju’s NEET 2022 analysis, most botany questions on the NEET paper were factual, with a few being concept-based. They also pointed out two incorrect questions from the topic “Living World and Anatomy of Flowering Plants.” In NEET 2022, Botany was the most lengthy and time-consuming of the year.
As per expert analysis, zoology had the most tricky questions that required a good knowledge of terminologies and clear concepts. Moreover, students must be aware of focus keywords in the questions t answer them correctly. Most of the questions were from NCERT; however, few questions on biochemistry and biomolecules were of a higher level than NCERT. Though biotechnology dominated the pare with eight questions.

Experts from another source considered physics a mixed paper with a good combination of theoretical and numerical questions. As per them, it was a more accessible paper with straightforward questions; however, numerical questions required lots of calculation and caused a loss of marks if students were not careful.
The experts considered the chemistry paper of NEET 2022 reasonable, with most of the questions coming directly from the chapters. Therefore, as per Vidyamandir, whoever prepared for the exams seriously would be able to get all the answers.
According to Vidyamandir Classes’ analysis of Zoology, the questions were basic level based on NCERT, with more statement and assertion-reason questions. Regarding difficulty, the zoology section difficulty was easy to moderate. However, experts also mentioned it to be the most time-consuming part of the exam.
