NEET MDS 2023 Internship Date Extended Till Jun 30: Check Details
The Minisitry of Health has announced that the last date for the completion of the internship that is a requirement for the NEET MDS eligibility 2023 has been extended to June 30.
NEET MDS 2023 Internship: The Ministry of Health has announced that the last date for the completion of the internship that is a requirement for the NEET MDS eligibility 2023 has been extended to June 30. Per the new criteria, candidates who completed their NEET MDS 2023 Internship before Jun 30 will be eligible to apply for the NEET MDS 2023 exam.

The decision came after more than 3000 BDS candidates were not eligible to apply for the NEET MDS Exam 2023 as per the previous NEET MDS 2023 Internship requirement criteria. Earlier, the last date for the completion of the internship was Mar 31. The students had demanded that the deadline for completion of the internship be postponed, which has now been accepted.
Candidates had requested the authorities to postpone the NEET MDS exam 2023 as there is only a gap of 6-8 weeks between the completion of the internship and the exam. Several aspirants have appealed to reduce the gap between the exam and the counselling. They say that a gap of 6 months between the exam and the counselling process is completely avoidable. However, the Ministry has not yet made any announcements regarding the issue.
The authorities have also postponed the internship completion deadline for the NEET PG Exam 2023. As per the earlier criteria, around 13,000 MBBS students were ineligible to apply for the exam.
