During the seat processing for the stray vacancy round, seats will be offered to respective category/ Internal candidates of respective quota first. However, the seats will be converted to general and All India Quota (AIQ), as per counselling policy, if no more internal candidates/ category candidates are available, so that no seats go to waste.
The MCC opened the choice filling facility for the stray vacancy round at 2 PM on Nov 26 and Candidates were allowed to fill in choices till Nov 28. However, the seat allotment for those candidates who did not modify their choices for the stray vacancy round has been processed based on the choices entered by them during the mop-up round.
The NEET PG counselling 2022 seat allotment is based on the NEET PG 2022 scores, choices filled in by the candidates, the availability of seats among other factors. The MCC will wind up this year's PG Medical counselling with the stray vacancy round.
