NEET PG Counselling 2022 Tentatively to Commence from September 19

NEET PG Counselling 2022: Earlier, the NEET postgraduate counselling for 2022 was going to start on September 1. However, according to sources, the new NEET PG 2022 counselling date stands at September 19 now. The delay is due to the addition of new seats by the National Medical Commission. Hence, the Union Health Ministry decided to defer the counselling process. Additionally, the ministry will release the NEET PG counselling 2022 schedule in a few days.

The competent authority made the necessary decisions to re-schedule the NEET PG Counselling 2022. The notice points out that although the counselling process was going to start on September 1, there is now a slight delay. The NMC is issuing the new LoP for the current academic year, and the process will end on September 15. Students will hugely benefit from this inclusion of seats in the NEET PG Counselling 2022 rounds.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (PG) usually takes place in January, and counselling starts in March. But due to the pandemic and the delay in the previous session’s admission process, the exam took place this year on May 21. The result was also out on June 1. Moreover, this year’s PG counselling is for 60,000 seats. Thus, qualifying students can fill their choices for their courses and colleges for admissions to all India quota seats, state medical and dental colleges, and central and deemed universities. Likewise, the counselling will parallelly begin for all major universities, deemed universities and 50% of all India quota and 50% of state quota of both medical and dental colleges.
