NEET PG Counselling 2022: Revised Cutoff Released for Admission to PG Medical Courses

NEET PG Counselling 2022: National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has released the revised scores for NEET PG counselling 2022. After the Centre approved the revision of cutoff marks by lowering them, the revised cutoff scores for PG medical courses were released.
Per the official notification, officials lowered the qualifying percentile for the general category candidates from the 50th to the 25th percentile. Thus, the revised cutoff score from 800 is 201. Meanwhile, the qualifying score for reserved category candidates (SC, ST, OBC) is 169, which correlates with the 15 percentile.

Candidates must note that after becoming eligible following the lowering of percentile, they must register themselves afresh and exercise choice filling mop-up round. Moreover, authorities revised the percentile according to the notification by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India letter No. V. 11025/379/2022-MEP. This notification was released on Oct 17.
Candidates must note that several factors determine their rank for NEET PG counselling 2022. Thus, some of those factors include the total number of candidates who appeared for the exam, the number of seats available, and the overall difficulty of the exam. Moreover, previous years' cutoff will influence the current cutoff for counselling.
