NEET SS 2021 Counselling Special Mop-Up Round Schedule Released
The MCC has released the time table for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) super-speciality 2021 counselling special mop-up round.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the timetable of the National Eligibility Entrance Test Super-Speciality (NEET-SS) 2021 counselling special mop-up round today, 18 June. The application process will commence on 21 June for NEET SS 2021 counselling special mop-up round. The seat allotment result will be released on 24 June by the MCC. The cutoff for NEET SS 2021 has been reduced by 15 percent for this round.

NEET SS Special Mop-Up Round Eligibility Criteria
- Only candidates without any seats in previous rounds of AIQ or any in-service seats in counselling conducted by Tamil Nadu are eligible to participate in this round.
- Candidates who have not registered in earlier rounds of AIQ may register & participate by paying fresh the security amount in this round.
- Candidates who have registered in earlier rounds of AIQ or Counselling conducted by the State of Tamil Nadu (in-service seats) but have not been allotted any seat are eligible to participate in this round.
In an official notice, MCC announced, “Any candidate who has joined a seat in the earlier rounds of AIQ or Counselling conducted by State of Tamil Nadu (in-service seats) shall not be eligible for participating in the special mop-up round.”

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare directed the National Medical Commission (NMC) to conduct an additional mop-up round with a reduced percentile to fill vacant SS seats.
The Health Ministry wrote to NMC, “After conducting two rounds of counselling and one mop-up round of counselling, 930 super specialty seats (534 DM, MCh, and 396 DNB seats) remain vacant. These are clinical super-specialty seats, including some government medical colleges.”
