NEET UG: Cheating Network Busted by CBI, 8 Persons Including Leader Jailed
CBI arrested eight people, including the mastermind, for allegedly appearing as legitimate applicants to aid others in the NEET exam.
According to sources, the CBI has arrested eight people, including the suspected mastermind and paper solvers, for allegedly appearing as legitimate applicants to aid others in the NEET exam for undergraduate medical programmes.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) held the NEET exam at various centres in Delhi and Haryana on Sunday. The agency allegedly obtained information that numerous people had formed a criminal conspiracy, as they impersonated legitimate candidates to write the exams.

The impersonators allegedly planned to appear at the NEET UG Exam in 2022. However, instead of actual candidates, they were taking the test in exchange for a substantial sum of cash. According to the CBI, the accused allegedly obtained the user names and passwords of the applicants. Made the necessary changes to get the desired testing locations.
Sushil Ranjan, Brij Mohan Singh, Pappu, Uma Shankar Gupta, Nidhi, Krishna Shankar Yogi, Sunny Ranjan, Raghunandan, Jeepu Lal, Hemendra, and Bharat Singh are the individuals against whom the agency has filed the FIR.
