MCC had announced the deadline extension for choice filling and locking by a day, from Nov 8 to Nov 9. Now the choice locking will take place starting at 3 PM today and will be by 11:55 PM. NEET UG Choice Filling 2022: How to Perform?
The following steps will guide candidates in NEET UG Choice Filling 2022:
- First, head to the official website of the MCC: mcc.nic.in
- Then click on the tab for 'UG Medical Counselling.'
- On the next page, click on the 'New Registration for Round 2' button.
- Submit the candidate's login credentials in the required fields and sign in.
- Navigate to the 'Available Choices' button in the candidate portal.
- Once the available choices have been checked, proceed to choice filling.
- The choices must be filled out in decreasing order of preference. To do so, click on the preffered course and colleges option from the left pane. Candidates can enter as many options as they wish. There is no limit to the number of choices that can be entered.
- Then click on the 'Save and Continue button.
- Candidates can use the options to move the choices up and down, swap two choices, and delete single and multiple choices.
Candidates must note that they click on the 'Choice Lock' button to lock their choice. The button will be activated only after the stipulated time. Once the choices are locked, they cannot be unlocked, which means they cannot be modified or altered. If the candidate does not lock their choices, they will auto locked by 5 PM today.
