Candidates who want to resign from the admitted seat must generate the resignation letter from the NEET UG Counselling 2022 online portal. If they do not do so, their resignation will be considered 'Null & Void,' and they will be considered for Round 2. The MCC also informed that even when the candidates file their resignation via email to the allotted institute, they must compulsorily generate the resignation letter from the portal.
Furthermore, suppose a candidate chosen for upgradation in Round 2 does not get an upgraded seat. In that case, they will not be able to resign from the seat they've already been admitted to during Round 1. They will have to retain the seat as they have exercised their choices and participated in Round 2. Moreover, a candidate who has already joined an institute during round 1 and is neither participating in Round 2 nor resigning from the seat will be considered part of round 2.
The registration for NEET UG Counselling 2022 Round 2 is scheduled to commence on Nov 2. The final seat allotment list for Round 2 will be released by Nov 11.
