NEET UG Counselling 2022: Last Day to Resign From Seat Allotted in Round 1 Today
MCC has informed candidates that the deadline to resign from the seats allotted to them in NEET UG 2022 Counselling Round 1 is 5 PM on Nov 1.
NEET UG Counselling 2022: The Medical Counselling Committee has informed candidates that the deadline to resign from the seats allotted to them in NEET UG 2022 Counselling Round 1 is 5 PM on Nov 1. All candidates who do not resign from their seats before the stipulated deadline will be considered as part of the NEET UG Counselling 2022 Round 2. Such candidates will be subject to the same rules that are applicable in Round 2. Earlier, the reporting phase for round 1 was concluded on Oct 28.
The MCC has advised candidates to ensure that the allotted college has generated their resignation letter through the online portal. In this process is not completed, the candidates' resignations will be considered Null and Void. They will have to occupy the allotted seat and will be subject to the rules of Round 2. Only the resignation letter generated through the online portal will be considered valid.
Furthermore, if a candidate who has opted for upgradation in round 2 does not get an upgraded seat, they will not have the option to resign from the seat allotted in round 1. They will have to retain the seat.
Registration for NEET UG Counselling 2022 round 2 will commence tomorrow. The final round 2 seat allotment result will be released on Nov 11.
