NIFT 2022 Group Discussion and Personal Interview Ends Today
National Institute of Fashion Technology will conclude the NIFT 2022 Group Discussion and Personal Interview for the various programs today.
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will conclude the NIFT 2022 Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) for the MDes, MFM, and MFTech programs today, 26 April 2022. The GDPI commenced on 7 April and was according to the programs. On the last day, authorities will conduct the GDPI for the M.Des program. The Situation Test for the B.Des program was conducted from 2-5 April 2022. In the case of the postgraduate programs, the GDPI carries a 30% weightage. Meanwhile, the Situation Test carries 20% weightage.
The exam committee will release the final merit lists for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs after the conclusion of the Situation Test/ GDPI. They will also release the final merit lists for the B.Des and B.F.Tech program at the same time. Candidates included in the final merit lists will be eligible to participate in the NIFT 2022 counselling and seat allotment process.
The NIFT 2022 seat allotment is based on the merit rank of the candidate and college options picked at the time of counselling. At the time of counselling, candidates have to get their documents verified, pay the counselling fee, and participate in the choice filling. The National Institute of Design will announce the counselling schedule soon.
