NIMHANS Postpones UG Online Entrance Test for Academic Year 2022-23
National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences has postponed the entrance examination for UG courses due to climate conditions.
National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) has postponed the entrance examination for various UG courses of NIMHANS due to heavy rainfall and current climate conditions in many parts of the country.
Previously, the entrance examination was scheduled to be held on July 24, 2022, and now it has been postponed to facilitate the candidates to travel smoothly from various parts of the country as the entrance exam will be held in the NIMHANS campus in Bangalore.

Eligibility Criteria for NIMHANS UG Courses
Following are the eligibility criteria for NIMHANS UG courses:
- Candidates with PUC or 10 + 2 with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology or job-oriented diploma courses from a recognized board with an aggregate of 45% can apply for BSc in Radiography course.
- Candidates with PUC or 10 + 2 or equivalent with a Science group having secured an aggregate of 45% in Science subjects for BSc in Anaesthesia Technology/ BSc in Clinical Neurophysiology & Technology courses.
- Candidates with PUC or 10 + 2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 45% aggregate in the above subjects can apply for BSc in Nursing course.
NOTE: Relaxation of 5% marks in aggregate will be given for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD category.
