NMC Revises Last Date for Colleges to Submit Data of First Year MBBS Students
NMC authorities have revised the last date for colleges to submit data of first year mbbs students till Jan 10, 2023. Previously, the deadline for the submission was Dec 31.
The National Medical Commission has extended the deadline for medical colleges to submit the details of students enrolled in the first year of the MBBS program 2022-23 till Jan 10, 2023. All the colleges must submit the data of the first-year students within the scheduled time. Previously, the last date for colleges to upload the data of students was Dec 31, 2022. However, various colleges could not submit the complete data, causing issues.
Further, the NMC authorities have emphasized following the terms, conditions, guidelines, and provisions of the Indian Medical Council (IMC) Act, 1956, and National Medical Commission Act, 2019, in the admission and uploading of data. Furthermore, the officials stated that "In case of any difficulty in accessing the NMC website or in data entry, an email may be sent to support.ugmonitoring@nmc.org.in or contact at our toll-free number 1800 11 11 54 (from 9:30 am to 6 pm) and the NMC office shall revert immediately to resolve the query/ issue."
To give the reason for the deadline extension, the authorities added, "However it is observed that the complete data has not yet been uploaded by the medical colleges, as a result of which difficulties are being faced in monitoring the online data of the above students."
Moreover, they explained that "As a one-time major, the last date for uploading the data/ details of students enrolled for 1st year MBBS degree for the academic year 2022-23 is extended till Jan 10, 2023 (midnight)."
