NMC Sets Deadline for MBBS Admission on August 30: NEET Counselling 2023 Begins Next Week
The National Medical Commission (NMC) will conclude the MBBS admission process by August 30. NEET 2023 counselling to commence from next week.

NEET Counselling 2023: The Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC) stated that there will be no MBBS admission taking place after Aug 30. The NEET counselling 2023 is most likely to commence from the last week of June 2023.
As per the new regulations by NMC, Medical admissions beyond Aug 30 will not be entertained and NMC has also asked the Medical Institutes to commence the MBBS Academic calendar from Aug 1 of every year. Candidates who apply for MBBS admission after Aug 30 will not be given any seat in any Medical Institute and their admission will be cancelled.
According to trends, NEET Counselling used to commence from July first week of every year. If the new rule by NMC is implemented, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) must start the NEET Counselling 2023 process by the last week of June 2023 itself.
The official NEET UG Counselling 2023 schedule will be soon announced on the official website. Candidates must register for the NEET counselling 2023 process without fail to participate in the counselling process.

- Class 10th Certificate
- Class 12th Certificate
- NEET 2023 Admit Card
- NEET 2023 Result/ Rank letter
- Birth Certificate
- Eight (8) Passport size photographs same as affixed on the application form.
