UGC NET December 2022: National Testing Agency, NTA, has released an important notice on the upper age limit for UGC NET December 2022. The Agency has revised the upper age limit for JRF. The official notification is available to the candidates on the official site of NTA at nta.ac.in.
According to the official notification, the NET Bureau of UGC (vide Letter No.4-1/2019(NET/NTA) dated Jan 02 2023) has asked NTA to designate the upper age limit for applying for JRF as 01.12.2022 instead of 01.02.2023. Therefore, the Agency has decided that the last date for determining the upper age limit for applying JRF is 01.12.2022 for December 2022 UGC-NET.

OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/Third gender UGC NET 2022 aspirants, as well as women, would be given a 5-year extension to register for the examination. Moreover, those with research experience, as well as several other categories listed on the notification, will be given relaxation in UGC NET 2022 age limit.
The deadline to apply for the examination is Jan 17, 2023. The last date to pay application fees is Jan 18, 2023. Meanwhile, the main exam will be from Feb 21 to Mar 10, 2023. Candidates should visit the official website to learn more about UGC NET December 2022.
