NTA Publishes Notice Regarding JEE Mains 2023 Exam for Tamil Nadu State Board Students
The National Testing Agency, NTA, has issued an important announcement for Tamil Nadu Board students who are registering for the JEE Mains 2023 Exam.
JEE Mains 2023 Exam: The National Testing Agency, NTA, has issued an important announcement for Tamil Nadu Board students registering for the JEE Mains 2023 Exam. Candidates can read the official notification on the NTA official website nta.ac.in.
According to the notification, the NTA has received complaints from Tamil Nadu State Board students who took the Class 10 exams in 2021. Exams were not held for the Class 10 class of 2021 due to the COVID outbreak.

As a result, no grades were recorded on the mark sheet, and a disclaimer reading, "As per G.O. (M.S.) No. 48, School Education (G.E.) department dated: 25.02.2021, all applicants who studied SSLC in the academic year 2020–21 are deemed passed," as per the notice.
As a result, the NTA has decided that for Tamil Nadu State Board candidates who passed their Class 10 in the year 2021, the associated fields for Marks/CGPA will be hidden. The Result Mode field will be disabled when filling out the JEE Mains 2023 exam session 1 application form and selecting "Passing year" as 2021 with "School Board" as Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination.
The notice further noted that the same rules would be applied to candidates who had already submitted an application with the passing year of 2021 and the school board being the Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (Sec.)
Session 1 of JEE Mains 2023 Exam will take place in January 2023, and Session 2 will take place in April 2023.
