OTET Notification 2022: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has released the OTET notification 2022 on the official website bseodisha.ac.in. Candidates interested in teaching in Odisha schools can apply for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test 2022 (OTET 2022). Registration for OTET 2022 is starting on Oct 10 and will close on Oct 19, 2022 at midnight. The application cost is INR 500 for General/OBC/SEBC applicants and INR 300 for SC/ST applicants. You can pay the application cost online.
Steps to Register for OTET 2022
The steps for the online registration process are given below:
- Go to the official website- bseodisha.ac.in
- Click on ‘New Registration’.
- Enter your details to make your account.
- Log in to your account.
- Fill in the information required- personal information, education qualification, address and other details.
- Download your information page.
- Make the payment.
- Enter ‘Final Submit’.
OTET Eligibility
To be eligible for OTET 2022 exam according to the OTET notification 2022, candidates need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
Category A
- Passed Class 12 with 45 per cent and a two-year diploma in Elementary Education or passed Class 12 with 50 per cent and a two-year diploma in education (Special Education)
- Graduate candidates with a two-year diploma in Elementary Education can apply for the exam.
- Graduate candidates with at least 50 per cent and a Bachelor of Education (B Ed) are also eligible to apply.
Category B
- Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Class 12 with at least 50 per cent and four-year B El Ed/B A/ B Sc, Ed or B A Ed/ B Sc Ed
- Graduation with at least 50 per cent marks and B Ed is required.
