RRB NTPC 2022 CBTST: Link to Choose Language for Typing Test Activated, Details Here

For the Computer-Based Typing Skill Test, RRB has activated the link to exercise the option for Typing Language. Accordingly, Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have allowed the candidates to choose the typing language, English/Hindi, for the Computer-Based Typing Skill Test. However, if any candidate fails to choose the typing language within the given time, then the candidate will get the English language to be their default typing language.
Candidates need to very carefully choose the typing language. Once chosen, they cannot change the option of the typing language under any circumstances. Candidates can avail the link to choose their language by 25 July 2022 for the RRB NTPC Typing Test.
From 12 June to 17 June 2022, RRB NTPC CBT 2 exams for levels 2, 3, and 5 took place. NTPC published the results for level 2 and level 5 on 18 July 2022. The selected candidates will appear for the Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST). The authorities will be conducting the test on 12 August 2022.
RRB NTPC Typing Test is for Junior Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper and Junior Time Keeper, Typing Skill Test (TST).

RRB NTPC 2022 Exam Pattern for Typing Skill Test
The typing test will be in online mode. The time duration of the test is 10 minutes. Candidates need to type 30 words per min (WPM) in English or in the Hindi language. They need to type 25 words per min (WPM) on their personal computer. Candidates cannot use any spell check facility or editing tools. The typing test is a qualifying test. Therefore, they will not consider the marks obtained in this typing test for the final merit list.
Details for the Typing Test
RRB NTPC will ignore 5% mistakes of the total typed word. After that, the corresponding number of words will be deducted for every mistake. It will be deducted from the total typed word. Based on the formula/illustration, this will lead to the final speed of the candidate. The authority will not evaluate a candidate if they type 300 words out of 1500 strokes (English language) and 250 words out of 1250 strokes (Hindi language) in the prescribed time.
