The Railway Recruitment Board, or RRB, has released the NTPC 7th Phase examination schedule. Officials will hold the national entrance exam on 23, 24, 26, and 31 July 2021. This exam is the 7th and last phase of the 2021 RRB NTPC. Thus, afterwards, the RRB board will release the examination answer key and results.
The admit card will be available on the official website by 19 July 2021. This availability is because the board states that the download of hall tickets will commence four days before the specified exam date. The board had followed a similar schedule for previous NTPC exams. Thus, applicants can download the hall pass with their registration number and date of birth. Additionally, candidates can check the exam centre locations online by 13 July 2021. Due to confusion amid the pandemic, the RRB has formed a candidate help desk in case of doubts or concerns. Hence, aspiring candidates can submit their questions to the board online.
The exam will be computer-based and has a 90-minute duration. However, PwD candidates will receive an exam time of 120 minutes. The exam has 100 objective-type questions in total. Additionally, there are negative markings. Hence, for every wrong answer, ⅓ marks will be deducted. Questions will be relevant to the stated sections of Mathematics, Reasoning, General Knowledge, and General Awareness. The General Awareness section will feature 40 questions, while the other sections will contain 30 questions each.
RRB NTPC Exam Guidelines Amid COVID-19
As the RRB is conducting examinations during the pandemic, officials have requested students to strictly follow the issued COVID-19 guidelines. For reference, pandemic exam guidelines will be available on the exam admit card. Hence, all candidates must wear a mask during the exam. The mask-wearing mandate is imposed from the time of entering the location to leaving. However, an exception is when candidates are sitting for the exam verification photo.
Additionally, there is a list of banned items during the exam. These banned items include electronic devices such as mobile phones, electronic watches, pages, calculators, Bluetooth devices, etc. Additionally, metal items such as bracelets, belts, and bangles are prohibited.
