JEE Main 2023: The National Testing Agency recently announced that the JEE main 2023 exam Phase 1 will be conducted between Jan 24 and Jan 31, 2023. Further, the second session of JEE main exam 2023 is expected to be held from Apr 6 to Apr 12, 2023.

JEE Main 2023 Clash With Assam & Bihar Board Exams
Go through the following reasons why the students are protesting against the JEE main 2023 exam dates.
- The board officials of Bihar will conduct the intermediate examinations from Feb 1, 2023, onwards. This exam will hold the Mathematics paper, a must-have for those pursuing Engineering. The Maths exam will be conducted a day after the JEE main exam session 1, not giving students enough time to prepare.
- Further, the board officials of Assam will conduct the HS 2nd Year practical examination from Jan 25, 2023, to Feb 15, 2023. Per the official schedule for JEE, such students must appear in the first phase of JEE main.
Since there is no gap between the higher secondary exams conducted by the board or the school and the JEE Main 2023 exam, it is a cause of worry among the students. The candidates will have no time to prepare for both exams individually, causing a strain on their academic performance.
Subsequently, the candidates have started to protest against the same through Social media. Many students have chosen Twitter as the source to express their concern regarding the few days gap. Additionally, the candidates will have to travel to reach their exam center in a very short duration, making it impossible for them to attempt both exams.
